Snout N' About strives to provide a calm, quiet atmosphere, but we need your cooperation to do so. Here's how:
Provide up to date Rabies vaccination info. This is a must before any services can be provided. Tags are not sufficient as they do not have expiration dates or names on them. Documentation with the expiration date visible is acceptable. This is not our rule, this is state law!
-
Be prepared for prices that are subject to change. When booking online, quotes are given assuming your pet is matting free, and can tolerate service.
-
Do not arrive before the scheduled appointment time. Right on time is best! Any sooner may impede on other's visit, and hinder cleanliness; we need a few minutes to disinfect between services.
-
If arriving before we open, do not attempt to enter. It is best to wait in your car, or take your pup on a walk to potty. We will turn on the open sign when ready to greet you and your pup.
-
If you are more than 15 mins late to your scheduled time, the appointment will be cancelled.
-
Have your pet potty before your appointment. For your convenience, we provide courtesy bags to the left of our door, as well as a garbage can located right below the bag dispenser.
-
If you have not been notified in any way, your pup is NOT ready yet! Quality work takes time. Entering the salon before the service is completed is not only disruptive; It's dangerous - it is no longer safe to continue working due to excitement and movement while holding extremely sharp equipment. Choosing a day you aren't on a tight schedule to book is best.
-
When walking into our location, be cautious of the door in case of an off leash pet, and do not crowd the lobby. To prevent potential dog fights, and preserve the calm atmosphere, no more than one pet family may be in the lobby at once. If you see there is already a pup in the lobby, wait outside for them to leave before entering. Safety first!
-
Repeated violations of these requirements will result in being blocked from booking. We reserve the right to refuse service.
-
Let the staff know if you've administered any sedative before the appointment, and inform us of any known health issues and/or allergies.
-
Let us know if you have any concerns before we begin!
With love,
The Snout N’ About Team
